Affordable Pet Care Plan

The idea for the Affordable Pet Care Plan was started in 1992 when our company reviewed the pet insurance plans that were available.

Our office of pet lovers did not like the available plans because the pet had to be healthy to participate, the pet owner had to purchase one plan for each pet, and pre-existing conditions were never covered.

So, we decided to design a plan. With the help of surveys we asked pet lovers throughout the country to tell us what they wanted in a pet medical plan. Between 1992 and 1997 over a half million pet parents such as yourself responded with your dream of the perfect medical plan. You asked for one plan per household, not per pet. You wanted no waiting period. You wanted the plan to cover pre-existing conditions. You told us how much you wanted to save. You even told us how much the plan should cost.
